It was considered one of the most beautiful of its time.
One of the creators behind this fascinating car was Émile Darl’mat. He traded with Peugeot and according to his ideas he modified coupes and convertibles of the model series 201, 301 and 601.
So he was not only a car dealer, but also had a keen sense of technology and design. One of his friends was the dentist and automobile designer Georges Paulin. But not just a car designer, he was the leading French car designer of his time. Thus he developed with Émile Darl’mat the Peugeot 402 Darl’mat Coupe Art Deco. And this was considered to be one of the most beautiful coupes in Europe.
