MOBILITY/MOTORCYCLES: The new BMW R 12 nineT and R 12 celebrate their premiere at one of the largest trade fairs for modified motorbikes.
Am ersten Dezemberwochenende treffen sich wieder zehntausende Motorradbegeisterte, um aufwändig umgebaute Motorräder aus aller Welt zu bestaunen. Handwerkskunst auf höchstem Niveau – auf der CUSTOMBIKE-SHOW 2023 zelebrieren die angesagtesten Customizer aus aller Welt in Bad Salzuflen die Faszination des individualisierten Motorrads. Auf knapp 20.000 Quadratmetern Ausstellungsfläche präsentieren rund 170 Firmen alles rund um das Individualisieren von Motorrädern sowie eine große Auswahl an Bekleidung, Parts und Accessoires – und mittendrin BMW Motorrad.
Das Programm von BMW Motorrad garantiert beste Unterhaltung. Neben den Produktvorstellungen auf der Hauptbühne warten auf die Besucher am BMW Motorrad Stand zahlreiche Custombikes, die in Kooperation mit ausgewählten Händlern und Custom-Garagen entstanden sind und das Umbau-Potential der eigenen Modelle zeigen. Vom Serienbike in individueller Ausgestaltung über gemäßigte Umbauten bis hin zu echten Custom-Bike-Schätzen zeigen die 17 Modelle auf dem BMW Motorrad Stand die gesamte Customizing-Bandbreite.

Das Highlight ist die Messe-Premiere der neuen BMW R 12 nineT und BMW R 12, die erst am 23. November 2023 ihre digitale Weltpremiere gefeiert haben. Gleich in sechs unterschiedlichen Ausprägungen werden die neuen Modelle auf der CUSTOMBIKE-SHOW aus nächster Nähe zu erleben sein. Mit der R 12 nineT führt BMW Motorrad die Erfolgsgeschichte der R nineT in die Zukunft und stellt dem erfolgreichen Modell mit der
R 12 einen Classic Cruiser für cooles und entspanntes Motorradfahren zur Seite.
Ebenfalls vor Ort ist die The Crown von Dirk Öhlerking, der letzte Geniestreich des bekannten Customizers auf Basis der R 18 sowie die R 18 B Heavy Duty von Customizing Legende Fred Kodlin (zu sehen am Stand von Fred Kodlin). Weitere Akzente setzen die spektakulären R 18 Umbauten Sapphire, Pure Bobber, Steelbody und Boris Bagger von vier ausgewählten BMW Motorrad Händlern, die komplette R 18 Modellfamilie sowie die R 18 100 Years.
Darüber hinaus ist BMW Motorrad mit folgenden Programmpunkten auf der Hauptbühne zu sehen:

On the first weekend in December, tens of thousands of motorbike enthusiasts will once again come together to marvel at elaborately customised motorbikes from all over the world. Craftsmanship at the highest level – at the CUSTOMBIKE-SHOW 2023, the hottest customisers from all over the world will celebrate the fascination of individualised motorbikes in Bad Salzuflen. On almost 20,000 square metres of exhibition space, around 170 companies will present everything to do with customising motorbikes as well as a large selection of clothing, parts and accessories – and BMW Motorrad will be right in the middle of it all.
The BMW Motorrad programme guarantees top entertainment. In addition to the product presentations on the main stage, visitors to the BMW Motorrad stand can look forward to numerous custom bikes that have been created in co-operation with selected dealers and custom garages and demonstrate the conversion potential of the company’s own models. The 17 models on the BMW Motorrad stand cover the entire customising spectrum, from series bikes in individual configurations to moderate conversions and genuine custom bike treasures.

The highlight is the trade fair premiere of the new BMW R 12 nineT and BMW R 12, which only celebrated their digital world premiere on 23 November 2023. The new models can be experienced up close in six different versions at the CUSTOMBIKE SHOW. With the R 12 nineT, BMW Motorrad is taking the success story of the R nineT into the future and, with the
R 12, a classic cruiser for cool and relaxed motorcycling.
Also on site is The Crown by Dirk Öhlerking, the latest stroke of genius by the well-known customiser based on the R 18, as well as the R 18 B Heavy Duty by customising legend Fred Kodlin (on display at the Fred Kodlin stand). Further highlights include the spectacular R 18 conversions Sapphire, Pure Bobber, Steelbody and Boris Bagger from four selected BMW Motorrad dealers, the complete R 18 model family and the R 18 100 Years.
